What Controls Your Heart Will Control Your Actions: Acts 12 Daily Devotional

What Controls Your Heart Will Control Your Actions: Acts 12 Daily Devotional

Our actions in life are do not come out of nowhere. A lot of us think this is so. We fly off the handle and say, "I'm sorry, I'm not sure what that was..." But the Bible teaches us that our actions are connected to our heart (bible ref), especially revelaed in unexpected situations. My family, as of three weeks ago, moved into a new home. As we enjoy Family Devotions this Advent Season, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus this Christmas, are we leading our families to understand the “Why” behind the manger? Do our families understand the weight of it all? Are we shepherding them so their eyes are open to the beautiful purpose of God sending His Son?
