State of Manhood

Gospel Family Ministries was privileged to partner with BetterMan Ministries for this qualitative research project: The State of Manhood 2024.

Our hope is to examine where we are and where we need to be as we create an urgency in the hearts of a generation, provide hope for men today, and give us all a pathway moving forward.

Dr. Chris Harper describes this piece as,

“A clear and compelling look at where men are today concerning their faith, family, and vocation . . . We feel a responsibility to do more than equip and empower the Church and men . . . we also want to educate.”

Dr. Tony Evans read it and commented:

"History has taught us many things, but one thing is for sure: the Church will never rise above the commitment of its men. Where are its men today? The State of Manhood shows us where we are and where we need to go. A valuable resource for pastors and leaders of men.”

Dr. Robert Lewis wrote:

“Today, the church urgently needs another kind of checkup. A manhood checkup. Men, by everyone's account, are currently struggling, and questions on how best to engage them abound. One thing is clear: the church needs a comprehensive, objective report on where men are and, with it, a practical, engaging action plan for what men need in light of those findings. We need a checkup to step up.”
