This playlist gathers voices from across the Christian music spectrum: classic gospel, modern worship, hymn revivals, and kid-friendly storytelling songs. Here are just a few highlights:

  • “Three Days Blind” (Larnelle Harris, Travis Cottrell, Michael O’Brien, and First Call) tells of Saul’s dramatic Damascus Road encounter with Christ, when he was blinded for three days before receiving his new calling.

  • “I Saw the Light” was written by Hank Williams in 1946; here, Crowder gives the beloved country gospel song a modern energy.

  • Kids will especially enjoy the story-songs “Paul Kept the Faith” and “Paul and Silas (They Sang a Song),”which name places Paul traveled and retell his adventures in a way that’s easy to sing along with.

  • “Paul & Silas (At Midnight)” (Naomi Raine and Chandler Moore) is a sweeping, 10-minute contemporary gospel piece that begins with Paul and Silas singing in prison, then builds into a powerful worship experience centered on praising God now rather than waiting for the morning.

  • “Chain Breaker” by Zach Williams and “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)” by Chris Tomlin both draw imagery from Paul’s miraculous escape from prison and the freedom Christ brings.

  • “Almost Persuaded” recalls King Agrippa’s hesitant words to Paul. George Beverly Shea’s recording—familiar from Billy Graham crusades—carries the weight of decades of evangelistic appeal.

  • “Yet Not I but Through Christ in Me” (CityAlight) echoes Galatians 2:20, where Paul testifies that his life is now lived by faith in the Son of God.

  • “Facing a Task Unfinished” is a 1931 missionary hymn, revived by Keith and Kristyn Getty, reminding us of Paul’s tireless gospel mission.

  • “Good Fight” (Unspoken) picks up Paul’s final words of faith and perseverance, packaging them in a contemporary pop-rock style.

These are just a sampling of the 22 songs in the Life of Paul playlist. Together, they capture Paul’s journey from conversion to commission, his struggles and victories, his worship and witness.

We encourage you to make this playlist part of your family’s devotional rhythm this month. Let these songs fill your home, car, or earbuds with reminders of Paul’s example—and, even more, of Christ’s power to transform, sustain, and send us out with the gospel.
